What is the ruling regarding Friday Prayer if the Imam's voice is cut off and one of the congregants steps forward to complete the prayer?

If the Imam's voice cuts off during Friday prayer, and the congregants have caught up with at least one rak'ah with the Imam, their prayer is valid, and they complete it as Jumu'ah, whether they complete it individually or appoint one of them to lead them in prayer. However, if the congregant caught up with less than one rak'ah, he must catch up with the Imam or find someone who can relay the Imam's voice to him. If they are unable to do so, they pray Dhuhr. It is preferable for the congregant not to intend to pray individually immediately upon the voice cutting off, but rather to wait, and if he despairs, then he may pray individually. If the congregant intended to pray Jumu'ah but did not catch up with a rak'ah due to the voice cutting off, he completes it as Dhuhr, and this is the more probable opinion, because Dhuhr is a substitute for Jumu'ah, and this is a latitude for people to act upon.
