What is the ruling on one who rejects the prohibition of usury, fornication, and alcohol, and rejects the prescribed shares in inheritance and the hijab, and desires a secular state, while being a Muslim who prays or does not pray, and how should they be dealt with?

Laicism means secularism, and it is a call to establish life on principles other than religion, separating religion from worldly affairs. Whoever adopts this ideology and denies or rejects the rulings of Sharia, knowingly and willingly, has cast off the yoke of Islam from his neck, even if he fasts and prays and claims to be a Muslim. Dealing with such individuals begins with offering advice and da'wah (invitation to Islam). If they persist in their falsehood, it becomes obligatory to disassociate from them and to refute their specious arguments to make their path clear to people, as Allah Almighty says: "And thus do We explain the verses in detail, and so that the way of the criminals may become evident."
