Is it true that the recitation of the Quran was heard from the grave of Thabit Al-Bunani, and that he used to pray in his grave after he was buried, in response to his supplication to pray in the grave for fifty years?

It is authentically reported that Thabit Al-Bunani supplicated to be granted the ability to pray in his grave. However, the occurrence of this for him has not been established with an authentic chain of narration. Rather, it has been mentioned in weak narrations containing unknown narrators. Al-Dhahabi mentioned his supplication with an authentic chain, but his seeing him praying in his grave was mentioned by Al-Dhahabi in a صيغة التمريض (passive or unconfirmed form), indicating its lack of authenticity.
