Is it permissible for a man to pray in a room where a menstruating woman is present?

A man is permitted to pray in a room where there is a menstruating woman. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not avoid praying in his home due to the presence of his menstruating wives. Rather, he would pray while his wife was menstruating, and he would recline in her lap and recite the Qur’an while she was menstruating. This indicates that a menstruating woman is like any other woman, except for what has been specifically excluded, such as the prohibition of sexual intercourse. Avoiding her is a Jewish belief that Islam abolished.
