How is cooperation in sin achieved?

Cooperating in sin is assisting in acts of disobedience, working with those who commit unlawful deeds, and encouraging and urging them to commit what Allah has forbidden, such as polytheism, murder, adultery, usury, and consuming people's wealth unjustly. Allah the Almighty has prohibited this, stating: ﴿And do not cooperate in sin and aggression.﴾ It has been reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever assists in the killing of a believer, even with half a word, will meet Allah the Almighty with 'despaired of Allah's mercy' written between his eyes."
