Is there any evidence for "Salat al-Hadiyah" (Prayer of the Gift), and if so, is it weak or fabricated?

The prayer known as "Salat al-Hadiya" (Prayer of the Gift) among some innovative sects, which is a two-rak'ah prayer offered specifically as a gift to the deceased on the night of burial, is an innovated prayer. There is no authentic or weak hadith (definition) from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning it. Therefore, it is not permissible to worship through it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs a deed that is not in accordance with our matter, it will be rejected."
