What is the ruling on an Imam leading people in prayer, having forgotten the impurity of his garment, and remembering it after the time has elapsed?

If a person prays with an impurity on their clothes, either unaware of it, or having known about it but then forgotten it and only remembered after finishing the prayer, their prayer is valid, and nothing is incumbent upon them. The same applies to the congregants; nothing is incumbent upon them.
