Where was Adam, peace be upon him, created, and does the word "ihbitū" (descend) mean descending from the sky or from a high place on earth?

Allah created Adam (peace be upon him) in Paradise, then He sent him down to the earth. Adam's Paradise is the Paradise of Eternity, and this is the view of the majority of the Ummah and the verified scholars. And "descent" (huboot) means coming down from a higher place to a lower one.
