The answer

Allah has forbidden the private seclusion of a non-mahram man and woman (khalwa) and the free mixing between men and women, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "No man should be alone with a woman unless she has a mahram with her," and Allah's Almighty saying: "And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the former times of ignorance." The appropriate stance for the wife is to advise her husband to leave work that leads to these forbidden acts and to search for another, or to distance himself from them as much as possible if the work is essential. There is no need for excessive anger if he does not intentionally commit forbidden acts.
