Is it permissible for a lawyer to purchase a house that another person had agreed to buy?

It is forbidden to outbid a Muslim when a price has been agreed upon between the seller and the buyer, due to the prohibition of the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding that. However, if there is no explicit agreement or understanding between the seller and the buyer, then there is no harm in outbidding, such as when the buyer requests a delay in payment and no agreement has been reached with the seller regarding that.
