What is the ruling on installing marble on building fences for decorative purposes?

There is no objection to that, as long as it does not enter the realm of extravagance and squandering. Allah Almighty said: "And do not squander wastefully. Indeed, those who squander are brothers of devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful."
