What is the ruling on praying in two mosques built by employees, both of which are deviated from the Qibla, and one of which has a significant disparity in the number of worshippers between the right and left sides?
If there is a slight deviation in the qiblah, it does not matter and is excused, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "What is between the East and the West is a qiblah." However, if the deviation is towards a completely different direction, then it is not excused. The Sunnah is for the Imam to be in the middle, and if the mihrab is not in the middle, it is prescribed to move it to the center of the mosque so that the worshippers are equally distributed on both sides of it.
