The answer

The first and second narrations were mentioned by Ibn Abi Shaybah in his Musannaf. What was attributed to Tarikh Dimashq was also mentioned by Ibn Abi Shaybah. The continuation of conversation until the appearance of Venus was reported in Ibn Abi Shaybah's Musannaf. What was attributed to 'Abd al-Razzaq's Musannaf was mentioned in a general sense. These narrations were cited in Muhammad ibn Nasr al-Marwazi's Mukhtasar al-Layl. We have not come across any statement from scholars affirming the authenticity of these narrations or deeming them weak.

The prohibition of speaking after the 'Isha prayer does not include speech that serves a legitimate Islamic interest, such as studying knowledge.
