What is the ruling on the actions of the father and mother in abandoning their daughter and changing her name and lineage, and is the girl's refusal to live with her mother considered an act of disobedience?

The parents' shortcomings towards their daughter do not negate their right to dutifulness and kindness. Writing the grandparents' lineage instead of the parents' in official documents is corrupt and may lead to the establishment of illegitimate rights, such as inheritance. This must be corrected if possible. Obedience to parents is obligatory regarding moving to live with them, unless there is actual harm, such as the country being unsafe. In such a case, obedience is not obligatory, and it is permissible to remain in the grandfather's house while observing the limits set by Allah. Maternal uncle's sons are not mahrams, and raising them together does not change this ruling.
