What is the evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah regarding the perishing of animals and their not entering Paradise after the reckoning on the Day of Judgment?

Animals, birds, and beasts will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection, and retribution will be exacted for some of them from others. Then Allah will command them to become dust, and it is then that the disbeliever will wish he were dust.
