Is a father's prayer against his son, made in anger, answered, or is the son forgiven through repentance and the father's contentment?

Displeasing one's parents is a forbidden act of disobedience (ʿuqūq) in Islamic law, and it is considered one of the gravest major sins. It is incumbent upon the child to obey their parents, treat them with kindness, and avoid everything that harms them. The pleasure of Allah Almighty is linked to the pleasure of parents, and a parent’s supplication against their child is often answered. Therefore, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against parents supplicating against their children.
