Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to live and work alone in a non-Muslim country, given her ability to find work in her home country near her family, and in light of the pressures she faces at work due to her hijab?

A woman is not permitted to travel without a mahram, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "No man should be alone with a woman, and no woman should travel except with a mahram." Likewise, it is not permissible to travel or reside in a country if it leads to abandoning prayer, neglecting it, removing the hijab, or any other religious obligations. It is possible to seek work in Muslim countries while engaging in da'wah (calling to Allah), for whoever fears Allah, He will provide a way out for him and sustain him from where he does not expect. We advise fearing Allah, remaining in your country with your family, and fulfilling the duty of da'wah.
