Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to live and work alone in a non-Muslim country, given her ability to find work in her home country near her family, and in light of the pressures she faces at work due to her hijab?
A woman is not permitted to travel without a , based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "No man should be alone with a woman, and no woman should travel except with a mahram." Likewise, it is not permissible to travel or reside in a country if it leads to abandoning prayer, neglecting it, removing the , or any other religious obligations. It is possible to seek work in Muslim countries while engaging in da'wah (calling to Allah), for whoever fears Allah, He will provide a way out for him and sustain him from where he does not expect. We advise fearing Allah, remaining in your country with your family, and fulfilling the duty of da'wah.
