Will the disturbing visions that haunt me, of my prayers not being answered, come true?

Interpreting dreams is not within our purview. We advise the questioner not to despair of the supplication being answered. He should continue to supplicate and seek refuge in Allah, and he should trust in Allah's promise of response, as Allah Almighty says: "Call upon Me; I will respond to you," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The supplication of one of you will be answered as long as he does not supplicate for a sin or cutting off ties of kinship, and as long as he does not become impatient." It was said: "What is impatience?" He said: "He says, 'I have supplicated, but I do not see it being answered,' and then he becomes disheartened and abandons supplication."
