What is the fate, and the ruling, of those whom the message of Islam has not reached?

Those who have not received the call of Islam, or to whom it reached in a distorted form, will be tested on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever obeys will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys will enter Hell, for Allah Almighty says: (And never would We punish until We have sent a messenger).
