There is no on a dwelling not intended for trade, whether during its construction, after its completion, or after it has been rented out; because what is prepared for personal use (qinyah) is not subject to zakat, even if it is for rent. Zakat is due on the rent of the house if it reaches the and a full year has passed over it, even if by combining it with other money or goods.
