Does the seller of a social media account bear the sin for what the buyer may post on the account, such as pictures of women, music, or other things, for the followers?

It is not permissible to aid a sinner in their sin, such as selling weapons to those who stir up discord, or renting out a place to someone who will establish a market for sin there, or selling grapes to someone who will turn them into wine. Anything that is used for something forbidden, its manufacturing, import, sale, and promotion are all forbidden. Work in this principle is based on the غالبة الظن (preponderance of probability). If it is highly probable that the buyer will use the item in an act of disobedience to Allah, then it is not permissible to sell it to him. However, if this probability is not high, or if the buyer's situation is unknown, then it is permissible to sell it to him, and there is no obligation to inquire about his situation. Nevertheless, it is advisable to counsel him and warn him if one sees him using it for something forbidden.

It must be noted that it is not permissible to sell an account to another person who will use it in the name of the seller themselves if the seller is a well-known and trusted person. This is forbidden deception and fraud, and it entails great evils, such as trusting a person and then discovering that it is someone else.
