What is the ruling on my grandmother continuing to fast the month of Rajab for life, after she has become unable to do so due to illness and old age?

It is disliked to single out Rajab for fasting. So, whoever vows to fast the entire month of Rajab, it is preferable for him to offer an expiation for breaking an oath (emancipating a slave, or feeding ten poor people, or clothing them; and if he is unable, then fasting three days) and not fulfill this vow.
