Did any of the righteous predecessors interpret Allah's saying: "And they had indeed been invited to prostrate themselves while they were sound" as encompassing those who fail to attend congregational prayers in the mosque without a valid excuse?

Al-Suyuti said: Al-Bayhaqi reported from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the Exalted's saying: "And they were called to prostrate" (Qur'an 68:42), he said: The congregational prayers. And Al-Bayhaqi reported from Ibn Abbas regarding His saying: "And they were called to prostrate," he said: A man hears the call to prayer but does not respond to the prayer. Al-Tabari said: It was said that prostration in this context means the obligatory prayer, and he mentioned something similar from Ibrahim al-Taymi and Sa'id ibn Jubayr.
