Does a married man with two daughters sin if he divorces his righteous wife to marry another woman whom he found to be "the love of his life," in a country that prohibits polygamy, and therefore he immigrates to the new wife's country, while committing to securing the life of his first wife and children?

Divorce has five rulings: obligatory, such as divorcing a woman whose husband made an oath of abstinence (ila') after the waiting period; disliked, which is without need; permissible, when there is a need due to the wife's bad character; recommended, when the wife neglects God's rights; and forbidden, such as divorce during menstruation. If a man fears he will not fulfill his wife's rights, there is no sin upon him in divorcing her. It is not permissible for a woman to seek the divorce of another woman for the purpose of marrying her husband. If a man divorces his wife and then proposes to a woman, there is no sin upon her in accepting him if his religion and character are pleasing. Private conversations before the marriage contract must be avoided.
