Is it permissible to accept a donation for building a minaret and a second floor for a mosque, on condition that "on behalf of the soul of his father, so-and-so" be written on what he donated?

First, avoid putting up a plaque with the name of the donor or the person on whose behalf the donation is made, because concealing charity is better than publicizing it. Also, innovations and showing off enter this domain frequently, especially in this era, and there is no need for it, as Allah rewards and knows the intention of the donor. The donor might be at risk of showing off if his father's name is written. However, if the donor insists on it, there is no harm in accepting the money from him and writing his father's name on the building, but he should know that after his donation, he has no claim over the mosque.
