Is writing "Al-Fatihah for the soul of the deceased [name]" on something donated to the mosque, such as a refrigerator or a wall clock, considered an innovation (bid'ah)?

Donating a refrigerator or a clock to a mosque is a good deed, whether it's for oneself or on behalf of a deceased person. However, writing "(Al-Fatiha to the soul of so-and-so)" is not advisable so that the act remains free from ostentation. Nevertheless, there is no harm in writing "(A prayer for whoever contributed this item, for their reward)."
