One who debates with Christians must be knowledgeable and capable of refuting their specious arguments; otherwise, it is not permissible for him to do so. And His, the Exalted, saying: (And those of your women who have despaired of menstruation - if you doubt, then their waiting period is three months - and those who have not menstruated) refers to young girls who have not reached the age of menstruation, or adult women who have never menstruated at all. Their waiting period is three months. There is no objection to marrying young girls if they are capable of marriage, and this is one of the merits of Islamic Sharia in protecting society from immorality. In Western societies, young girls commit fornication in the name of personal freedom, and a small percentage of them are virgins upon reaching eighteen years of age. What is more reprehensible is leaving a girl as prey for teenagers instead of her lawful marriage, which preserves her rights.
