What is the ruling on one who has repented from playing pirated games (downloaded without permission from the companies), and cannot recall the number of companies or games in order to seek their forgiveness, and fears discord if he attempts to do so?

Copyrights are owned by their respective holders and must not be infringed upon. Accordingly, playing pirated games is impermissible. Whoever has done so must repent and seek absolution from the rights holders by requesting forgiveness or reconciliation for the harm caused to them. The aggressor is not exempt from seeking absolution or reconciliation for any reason.
