What should a young man do after falling in love with a girl from his neighbors and finding himself watching for her daily?
The only legitimate relationship between a man and a non- woman is marriage. Any other form of love relationship is impermissible. The remedy for an attached heart to a non-mahram woman is marriage. If marriage is not possible, then they must disengage from this attachment, and each of them should strive to maintain their chastity through marriage. If you are able to marry that woman, then proceed; otherwise, turn away from her. One must lower their gaze from non-mahram women. If the eye falls upon one, the gaze should be averted. It is not permissible to let one's gaze linger upon women except for one who intends to propose to a woman and expects a positive response.
