Does drawing blood, whether a small or large amount, break the fast of one who is fasting?

If the amount of blood taken is conventionally small, then the person's fast is valid, and they are not required to make up the day. However, if it is conventionally large, then they must make up that day as a matter of precaution and to clear their conscience.
