Is it permissible for a man's wife to display her adornments to her husband's father?

If the stepfather is your (mahram) father, then it is permissible for him to see the adornments that are seen by mahrams, provided there is no fear of temptation. This aligns with verse 31 of Surat An-Nur, which specifies to whom a woman may display her adornment. Scholars have differed in defining this adornment; some said it is the head, others specified it as the earring, necklace, and bracelet, while others said it is what covers the head while the veil is uncovered. However, if the stepfather is not your father, then he is a stranger to her, and what is forbidden to her from a stranger is also forbidden from him.
