Who is the fasting person deserving of being fed in Ramadan? Is it the needy or the traveler, or is it anyone else, even if they are well-off?

The reward for feeding a fasting person is great and is obtained by anyone who feeds a fasting person, whether rich or poor. This falls under the category of a gift, not charity. As for invitations intended for boasting, they are blameworthy, and their host will receive no reward. One who is invited to such an event should not attend and must excuse themselves. If it is possible to advise the host gently and indirectly with a good general approach, that would be better.
