Did scholarly consensus occur other than in the era of the Companions and their Successors?

Ijma' (consensus) is the agreement of the qualified mujtahids (interpreters of Islamic law) of the Muslim nation upon a matter after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Ijma' occurred during the era of the Companions and those who came after them. Examples of this include the Companions' consensus on the obligation of appointing a caliph, fighting those who withheld zakat, prioritizing the deceased's debt over their will, and the prohibition of pork fat. Some scholars have authored books on Ijma', such as "Maratib al-Ijma'" by Ibn Hazm and "Al-Ijma'" by Ibn al-Mundhir.
