What is the ruling regarding a 6-year-old child who places his hand on his private part, then touches objects, clothes, and other children's hair with it, without cleaning himself after relieving himself?
The esteemed sister should disregard these whisperings (waswas) and pay no attention to them, for they are the cause of her confusion. She should not deem anything impure based solely on doubt, as the default state of anything whose purity is doubted is purity. Even if the child touches his private parts while not in a state of ritual purity, it does not mean that his hand has become impure. And even if we assume his hand did become impure, it would not contaminate dry objects it touches if those objects are also dry. One should not exhaust oneself by searching for impurity on his hand, as this is a form of waswas. Nothing should be ruled impure except with absolute certainty.
