How does the oppressor rid himself of the prayer of the oppressed against him if it afflicts him?

The supplication of the oppressed is answered, and there is no barrier between it and Allah. Du'a (supplication) can avert destiny and increase lifespan. However, this is contingent upon sincere repentance, restoring rights to the oppressed, or seeking their forgiveness and showing kindness to them. Supplication benefits against what has descended and what has not descended.
