Is it permissible to use a public company's machines and tools to film Islamic articles, and to listen to sermons, admonitions from sheikhs, and the Holy Quran via computer during free time after work, and is repentance sufficient for what has passed?

It is not permissible to use work equipment for personal purposes, even if for Islamic articles, because the employee is entrusted with what they possess, and it is forbidden to dispose of it except for the benefit of the work. If the company is private and its owner permits it, then there is no harm. However, if it is governmental, it is not permissible even if the supervisor allows it, because they do not own it. This ruling applies to using a computer to listen to lectures and the Quran if it incurs additional cost or wears out the device. One must repent and return what was consumed. If it is difficult to determine the quantity, one must strive to do what absolves their responsibility. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen mentioned that using state property for personal purposes is forbidden.
