Does supplicating to avert affliction and to be granted a righteous spouse and offspring contradict contentment with Allah's decree and destiny, and is persistence required in this supplication?

Your having menstruated only once does not mean infertility, as the cause may be temporary. Therefore, present your case to doctors, for every illness has a cure. If it is proven that you are infertile, infertility is not a defect that must be disclosed to a suitor. Take the initiative to marry and supplicate frequently, for du'a averts destiny, and have a good opinion of your Lord, for He commanded supplication and promised to answer. Remember that marriage has many benefits other than procreation, and marriage may become obligatory for one who fears temptation for himself.
