What is the ruling of Sharia on prizes offered by telecommunications companies in Sudan, where winners are chosen randomly from registered subscribers, and the prizes are cars and gold?

If the prizes are merely gifts from companies to their customers and are free from gambling, then there is no harm in accepting them. What we mean by prizes being free from gambling is that they should not be from the collective funds of the participants, such as when they pay money to companies in order to enter a draw for prizes.
