Is the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw) obligatory upon the ma'mum (follower in prayer) who completed the prayer after the imam's excuse?

If the Imam appoints one of the congregants to complete the prayer with the congregation, the appointed person is not required to perform the prostration of forgetfulness ( al-sahw) due to this appointment.
