Does a woman driving a car with her husband's approval, but against her mother's wishes, constitute a sin or entail any religious impediment?

The basic ruling is that it is permissible for a woman to drive a car, with certain controls and conditions, especially with the husband's approval. However, a Muslim should be keen on pleasing their parents, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The pleasure of Allah is from the pleasure of the parent, and His wrath is from the wrath of the parent." So, if the mother dislikes her daughter driving a car, she must be obeyed in that, especially in these times when modesty has decreased and corruption has increased, and with the presence of a husband who suffices her from driving.
