Is it permissible for a mother to pray in congregation with her sick son at home?

Nevertheless, it is more virtuous for you to go to the mosque to attain the reward of congregational prayer, and your son can pray with the household members, or you can pray with him after your return, knowing that there is no sin upon him if he misses the congregation due to illness.
