The husband is not liable for the money left in his house due to his arrest, as there was no transgression or negligence on his part. A trustee is not liable. Similarly, the wife who disposed of the money by selling the land, fearing its spoilage, is considered a doer of good (muhsina) and is not liable, as long as she did so to preserve the money. Nothing is incumbent upon her. The land belongs to those who are entitled to that money, and they have the choice to sell it or keep it.
