Is it permissible to accept an inheritance if it is known that it involves injustice to the other heirs?

It is not permissible to accept someone else's right without a legitimate legal basis, whether it is from an inheritance or otherwise, and whether the giver is a relative or a stranger. Whoever takes it is considered an oppressor, consuming people's wealth unlawfully. Whoever has wrongfully taken another's right must return it; otherwise, it will remain upon them until the Day of Judgment, when the wronged party will be compensated from their good deeds, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever has wronged his brother concerning his honor or property, let him seek his forgiveness before the Day when there will be neither dinar nor dirham. Instead, it will be taken from his good deeds; and if he has no good deeds, then some of the bad deeds of his companion will be taken and added to his bad deeds."
