Is the steam rising from washing impure clothes with hot water considered impure, whether it condenses and drips or not?

Scholars have differed regarding the purity of smoke from impurities. The Hanafis and Malikis held it to be pure, while the Shafi'is, Hanbalis, and Abu Yusuf from the Hanafis considered it impure. The more preponderant opinion is that it is pure because it consists of aerial, fiery, and watery components that do not carry the characteristic of filth. There is no difference in its ruling whether the vapor condenses and drips or not.
