How can I make myself among those who do not worship Allah on the verge?

The meaning of "worshipping Allah on an edge" is to worship Him with doubt, as Allah Almighty said: "And among the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If good befalls him, he is reassured by it; but if a trial befalls him, he turns around on his face. He has lost this world and the Hereafter. That is the obvious loss." Al-Baghawi interpreted it to mean doubt, and Al-Qurtubi interpreted it to mean worshipping Allah during times of ease but not hardship. There is no contradiction between the two interpretations, because one who doubts turns away during hardship. To avoid this, one must believe with certainty and worship Allah during times of ease and hardship.
