The question

How can one get rid of the obsessive whispers (waswas) concerning repeating "Bismillah" during ablution, repeating the Tashahhud, doubting the articulation points of letters (makharij al-huruf) when reciting the Qur'an, and other obsessive whispers related to intentions and utterances, knowing that advice to disregard them is correct, but applying it is difficult?

The answer

We advise you to turn away from these whisperings (waswas) and ignore them. If you intend to say "Bismillah," or recite the Quran, or perform the Tashahhud in prayer, then utter the desired word or dhikr once without hesitation or pause. Do not pay attention to the devil's whisperings that you did not articulate the letter from its proper articulation point or did not pronounce the word correctly.
