How accurate is the attribution of this supplication to Gabriel (peace be upon him) regarding its virtue and forgiveness, which begins with: "There is no god but Allah, the True, the Manifest King; there is no god but Allah, the Just, the Certain..."?

This lengthy supplication is not found in the books of Sunnah, and it is fabricated and invented due to its poor composition, exaggeration, errors, and audacity towards Allah, such as the claims that it is written around the Throne and on the walls of Paradise, and that Gabriel descends with its blessings. It contains several falsehoods, including:

1. The innovated supplication seeking intercession through other than Allah, and seeking intercession through the persons of prophets and others.

2. The supplication using "seats of honor from Your Throne," which is a disputed matter, and some have disliked it.

3. Naming the Angel of Death "Azrael," which has not been authentically established in sound hadiths.

4. Disrespect towards Allah in some phrases, such as "do not hasten" and "do not be stingy."

5. Disrespect towards Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, and the claim that he forgot the Qur'an.

Therefore, one must be cautious against attributing this supplication to the Prophet (peace be upon him) or Gabriel, or believing in the exaggerated promises it contains.
