Seeing the dead while awake is not true, as their emergence from graves and presence among the living is impossible. What the boy saw may have been a jinn who appeared to him in the form of his grandfather. No legal ruling is entailed by this vision or by any bequests made therein. It is advisable to fear Allah, observe the obligatory prayers, and abstain from sins to protect oneself from Satan. One should also regularly recite the prescribed adhkar (remembrances), and the boy should be treated with ruqyah (exorcism) according to Islamic law, especially using Ayatul Kursi and Surah Al-Baqarah.
