We advise you to seek forgiveness for your mother, give charity on her behalf, and maintain ties of kinship with her relatives. Dismiss from your mind what you mention about your own ill-manners or being the cause of her death, as this is a deception from Satan. Occupy yourself more with studying the Quran, books of , and stories of the righteous predecessors, and seek out good company. Kissing the hands of parents is recommended, and kissing their foreheads is even more preferable. Not kissing them is not considered an act of disobedience.
