Is a wife permitted to detest her husband due to his irresponsibility and abusive language, and to refuse intimacy with him; and is she sinful for that?

If the wife dislikes her husband and fears that she will not be able to observe God's limits with him, then she may seek a khulʿ (divorce at the instance of the wife). If the husband mistreats her and wrongs her, then she may seek a divorce due to harm, and he is not permitted to take compensation. However, if the wife agrees to remain married to her husband and he fulfills her rights, then she is not permitted to refuse to move with him or to disobey him in matters of obligatory obedience that are recognized as good.
